0 Disconnect previous user from printer
This step can only be done by your Sculpto Support agent. If not already done please contact: contact@sculpto.dk and ask for this. Include your printer's serial number.
Please move to the next step.
1 Turn on printer and use a desktop to find the printer’s wi-fi
When the printer is flashing yellow then log on to the printer’s Wi-Fi via your computer by going to ‘Network
and internet’ (Wi-Fi) and connect to “Sculpto3D-XXXXX”:
Figure 1: The ’XXXXX’ resembles your printer’s serial number.
2 Open a browser on your computer for example Safari or Chrome.
Internet Explorer does NOT work for this.
3 Type 192.168.100.200 in the URL field and press ‘enter’
If nothing happens then type 192.168.100.1 in the URL field and press ‘enter’.
Figure 2: Copy the numbers into the browser where you would normally enter a website.
You should now be able to see this page:
Figure 3: The browser should open this page where you can insert your Wi-Fi and password.
4 Choose your home Wi-Fi network and write your password (Keep
refreshing until your Wi-Fi appears)
NOTE: The printer is ONLY compatible with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
5 Important: Mark the “Associate with user” field.
It is important that you mark this field to connect the printer with your Sculpto account.
6 Now type your Sculpto USERNAME (NOT your e-mail)
It is important that you type the USERNAME here and not your e-mail.
Figure 4: The browser should open this page where you can insert your Wi-Fi and password.
7 Press “Apply”
Figure 5: The browser should now show this message.
8 Wait until the printer lights white constantly and continue to step 10
If that does not happen then repeat the previous steps up to 3 times.
8.1 If step 2-9 continues to fail - then try to change the channel on your Wi-Fi
router)
You can find instructions on how to do this by Googling: “Change channel on [Insert router brand and model]”.
After you have done this repeat the previous steps.
8.2 If step 2-9 continues to fail - then try to activate hotspot/internet sharing on
your smartphone
If step 2-8 continues to fail - then try to activate hotspot/internet sharing on your smartphone and try to
connect the printer to your smartphone hotspot (If this works, the printer might not be compatible with your
Wi-Fi router)
9 When your printer lights white constantly, then open the Sculpto App again and log-out of the app
There might be an update ready for the printer. If not, then simply log-out and login again.
Figure 6: You need to logout and login again before the app can refresh and load the connection.
10 The printer should now be visible in your Sculpto App and you’re connected
NOTE: You might have to logout and login a few times before you see the printer in your app.
If the printer has not been operation for a longer period it will most likely have updates in queue. The
printer flashes purple when updating and must not be turned off during this process.
Figure 7: The printer’s serial number should now be visible in the app
